The major undertaking of the IPM at the time of its creation was the educational support of economic reform. Our first programs were oriented on training specialists who then engaged in the process of new market creation. In 1997, we reoriented our programs towards demands of new private sector.
IPM keeps abreast of the latest developments, offering:
- Education (5 diploma programs, 9 long-term and 9 short-term executive courses, including in-corporate training)
- Research (as published in the ECOWEST economic journal , the quarterly analytical bulletin -The Belarusian Economy: Trends, Analysis, Forecasts -and the analytical bulletin -The Belarusian Monthly Economic Review)

IPM Business School
The IPM Business School is a meeting point for the best real world experience and native practices.

The Research Center was established in 1999 as a department of the IPM.
IPM Research Centre facilitates dialogue on the issues of economic development of the country with public society structures and state organisations. Additionally it provides an information and analytical support function to Belarusian and foreign companies and to international organisations operating within Belarus. The main activities of the IPM Research Center are monitoring, analysis and forecasting of Belarusian economy development, economic research and elaboration economic policy recommendations, promotion of dialogue on the issues of economic development through conferences and seminars, publication of the results of research conducted by Belarusian and foreign economists in ECOWEST journal, and training of specialists in the field of modern methods of economic analysis.
INDECOM Consulting Company was established in 2004 as a department of IPM.
